Since 1951, First Brethren Church has been part of the desert fabric of Tucson. Nestled between the Peter Howell and Poets Square neighborhoods, the church building has long been a place where families gather to learn about Jesus and find community. Over the past 75 years, thousands of sermons have been preached, many songs sung, and countless lives changed. Yet, as the surrounding community has aged, so has our congregation.

In 2025, we discerned that it was time to position our current congregation to replant the church. This includes updating our bylaws, establishing new leadership, renovating our facility, gathering a core team, and choosing a new name. It will be a blending of old and new to create something beautiful.

Our hope is to do all of this in partnership with the communities we serve.
