Leadership

Josh comes from a long line of Southern oilmen, fighters, farmers, and bookies. His journey with Jesus began as a young adult and has shaped his path ever since. He has pursued a better world by starting things—through pastoring, filmmaking, writing books, academic work, and building a family. Along the way, he has experienced his fair share of both personal and professional failures. But at the heart of it all, Josh is learning—day by day—to find his identity not in his mistakes or accomplishments, but in Jesus. Most importantly, he is the husband of Sarswatie and the father of Aahana, Anaia, and Azariah.

Josh has a B.A. in Biblical Studies, M.A. in Ministry, and PhD in Intercultural Studies where he studied the problem of racial violence by engaging in oral history analysis among the survivors of the Charleston Massacre. He is author to Everyday Activism and In God's Good Image. 

Angie has been attending her church for almost 20 years and has served as Moderator for about 15 years. She became Treasurer in January 2025. She loves her church family and enjoys serving in these roles, as well as having a deep love for Tucson.

She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
